We’ve been using a service called www.budurl.com to track links we embed in blogs, emails and other social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. It’s been a pretty good way to track traffic. Wall posts on Facebook, for example, don’t seem to get too much traction. Twitter, on the other hand, yields quite a number of click-throughs.This link to our blog http://budurl.com/md3l will tell me how many people follow the link along with a little bit about where the click originated. It’s interesting to note activity. Frankly, it’s kind of fun to post and see the clicks add up–instant gratification.Give it a try.
