On 18 September, TAAN presented our Titan Awards for outstanding communications achievements in Rome, Italy.

We received an impressive 423 total entries across TV, Print, Radio, Outdoor, Digital, Events, Promotions, and our brand new category, Social Media. From the 423 entries we received, we had 81 entries – campaigns and single pieces – which were Merit Winners. And 18 deserving pieces were recognized as Titan Trophy Winners.

We had two special guests participate in the presentation of our awards. Both leaders in the Italian Communications profession.

Michele Ficara Manganelli, is a highly regarded thought leader in the Italian advertising world. Michele is the founder and President of Assodigitale – the Italian Association for Digital Industry. Part of that role includes serving as editor of the association’s online news portal – one of Italy’s most widely read news sources dedicated to digital media.
 
Biagio Vanacore has served as CEO of the award winning ad agency BVA Italy for the past 13 years.  He is also chairman of the board of Siget ITALY and Deputy Chairman of the TP association of advertising professionals.

We thank both Michele and Biagio for assisting in presenting our awards, and for sharing a few thoughts about their perspective of our industry.

It was a glorious evening in Rome for all who attended the TAAN Titan awards and the celebration that followed.
